2021 saw the Covid 19 rules relaxed just in time for our annual Windrush celebration which started off with a new Mural being installed in the Main Hall at Butetown Community Centre.

Moving the story on from the arrival of our wonderful Windrush Pioneers, we focused on down the generations and set to visual the story of Exclusion, Discrimination, Isolation and in spite of those experiences, we depicted the success, the achievements and the pioneering 1^st

We focused this year  on the children and grandchildren of our Windrush generation who have excelled in many areas such as Sport, Education, Politics, The Creative Industries, Acedemia, Industrial Relations, Health Science and many other areas in the UK.
